I had a horrible nightmare 3 nights ago and it is still sticking to me. In this dream, my daughter (23) was choking and passed out, I was doing everything I could to save her and she was turning purple...I was administering cpr and realized my cell was in the next room, but didn't want to leave her long enough to go get it, knew that if I didn't, she may not make it....finally I woke up, shaking and crying. I have never had a nightmare haunt me like this one has...and I think I may have had it because I did go to bed that night and left my cell in the living room. Ever had this happen, that something weighs on you and gives you bad dreams?

do some self affirmations to not have bad dreams in the future, and get a dream interpreter, it could be a warning.

I had a recurring nightmare for about a year a few years ago.

I won't do that...I have 5 children and 5 grandchildren and always keep my phone on for emergencies.

That is my biggest fear. I am not the only one that has had nightmares of her passing, but the others have all been car accidents. Just scary as hell.

I had that too, concerning my baby brother, had that dream every night until he passed the age he was in my dream.

i had rotating recurring nightmares for about 7 years as a child. there were 3 different nightmares that would take turns torturing me every single night. i feared falling asleep, and have only recently been able to stabilize my sleep patterns for the first time in my 40 plus years.

I believe that dreams or nightmares can mean a few things...prophecies...fears...the mind's way of coming to grips with something in your life... It's tough to interpret them, sometimes...but try not to let the fear invade your waking hours...or the true meaning may be lost...

i very rarely dream evan rarer to have nightmares there either prophetic or telling me how to fix a situation one i was having a conversation with someone didnt know who it was and got them mad 5 months later i was actually having the conversation with them and remembered the dream and changed my answer

I am hoping that it was because I left my phone in the other room. I always keep it next to my bed and didn't that night...made a mental note of it before I fell asleep...maybe I should have just gotten up to get it...and I WON'T do that again...lol.

I told my daughter about this nightmare. In the dream, she had been drinking and was getting sick, that is when she started choking...her aunt died this way...My daughter had plans to go out and party that next night and when I told her about the dream, she decided to just go to dinner and come home...made me feel a lot better.
