  Although I am adopted this is a pic a couple pics of my father whom came from Cork when he was just 16 and opened "Harringtons Irish Pub" in San Francisco in the 1950's and retired in the early 90's here to Oregon... I have lots more pics of him and our family history should anyone be interested..... We had famous entities visit our bar such as... Jane Fonda....John Wayne.... as well as he was personal friends with the " Irish Rovers" whom played several time on Saint Patties day!!! One such article was posted in the SF examiner when Jane Fondas brother was running for office and she was buying drinks all over the town and entered our pub and asked my mother how much for a round of drinks... My mother looked around and figured roughly 500 heads and so she replied $500.00... Jane replied: well I only paid $300.00 at the bar across town?? My mother replied...yeah well this is "HARRINGTON'S!!!!!!!!!! True story!!!! I will find the article for you!!! Mom said she was a real b*itch!!!!! lol..............
