I had a guy come in to my office today with his 5 year old. They come in regularly to record land docs. There has been very mild flirting in the past. We joke that I'm gonna take all his money in recording fees.

Anyway, today when he comes in and I'm processing his paperwork, his son pops up and says "Daddy says you can have all his money because you're so pretty!" And he turns around and gives a big cheesy smile and thumbs up to his Dad.

Needless to say we all laughed, there was a little blushing for both of us, and the Dad says "Well... with that being said, would you like to go do dinner sometime?"

So... I have a dinner date tonight with two handsome men. bigsmile

Anyone else have something like that happen??

Thanks! bigsmile I'm sure we'll have a good time!

It's funny because I just got a call from him a few minutes ago. He wanted to let me know that he didn't ask his son to say it, but that he had made a comment like that a few times to his son as they were walking out of my office.

Still, it's super sweet. blushing

Yep, going with both. We don't have any places like Chucky Cheese here, but we are going to a family restaurant.

He's a single Dad that is very devoted to his son. I knew that from our previous chatting in the office. Plus, it's a very small town... you know more sometimes that you want to.

Oh heck yeah, I most certainly know that. It's not a romantic date in the least. Apparently the little guy has asked about the 3 of going to dinner before. I guess because we goof off when he comes in and I give him lollipops! And I see them around town all the time. bigsmile
