And we never made it past the water. I guess it was good that we both realised that there was no chemistry and ended it early. So, I took myself to the movies - "I guess He's Just Not That Into You". Pretty appropriate - given the way the night went. Figured I'd just voice my mood out loud (or in writing). Hey... it happens. Sometimes the dates work out well, and other times they just go bust. I remember having dinner on one such date and being SO annoyed with her inane conversation and even more annoying voice that I just left the restaurant and stuck her with the check. The date went off THAT badly. Blind dates are just that- blind dates. With that said, blind dates should not be taken with any sort of seriousness or gravity, as they simply aren't the be all and end all they are. I felt cheesy because all we ordered was water. That, my friends, is lame.....oh well. |

He was a bit too advanced for me - apparently his idea of dating and mine were very, very different. Something about swinging....also, our views on recreational drugs were not the same. None for me, thanks.

yeah the no chemistry dates...pretty much are shown that there isn't any chemistry at the start of the date.

At least you're not a paranoid flake, who won't at least TRY a blind date. I dont understand why some girls get all scared and nervous, like guys are going to harm them in a crowded meeting place. Why even be on an online dating site if you're too paranoid to meet someone in person???
