Probably a "friend collector"...possibly from myspace. I don't get it either. Why would you want over 1000 friends. Are they really gonna email all of them???

that you never had any contact with, via e-mail or in the forums, add you to their favorites? One who has added me has the 50 mile filter up so I cannot even write to ask her wtf... It happens and YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT,,NAN,NAN,NAn... OH,,sorry,,,I lost control........ Everyone has a thing with THAT,,me hell I could care less if someone had me as a fav, or a yuk...THEY at least took the time to THINK SOMETHING ABOUT YA... I understand and accept there is nothing I can do about it, and it does not bother me at all in the way you suggest. I would just like to know why. Understanding things is important to me. FIRST let me say,,,,I WAS JOKING,,,,,,and I didn't say it like YOU TOOK IT,,,lol its ok some people take me wrong I love to be a smart azz but never with REAL intent,,just a giggle and a smerk.. and truth always follows....... I love to ask any and all silly questions as to understand many things..

Most likely they are people that find you attractive or interesting, and they just want to keep tabs on you without having to actually talk to you. Or perhaps they are not single and are saving you on their favorites for when they are.

I've only accidentally clicked it the once - as noted, and it gave me no special tab or ability. Just embarrassed me, Thankfully mine was a sweet, understanding friend. I couldn't take it off or back either. Seems like all your friends should be favourites?! Weird button ...

But, she apparently turned down or never responded to a friend request. If she is shy then i understand that she will not contact me, but shouldn't she at least give me some option to contact her?

I don't know why people do what they do. I have a guy who nudges me several times a week but he never emails me.
