Even if you did fake your personality, evenutally your real personality would surface more than likely. So it's just a waste of time and effort to be someone your not.

I am what I am - like me or not (geez, it's too hard to try to be two of me and the world certainly can't take THAT anyway!) That doesn't mean, however, that I can't be a bit of a chameleon in terms of how I behave in different situations or with different groups of people...but I'm still being 100% genuine when I make those slight shifts, it's just about interacting with a group in the way that works for everyone involved based on interests, activities you do together, etc. That's what lets me interact with executives, little kids and everyone in between. Plus, if that weren't a real part of life even in the same peer group, every 'circle' of friends would get along with every other 'circle' of friends and that's just not usually the case. Just my 'genuine' thoughts

passionate vs. dispassionate personality...if someone is one way, it will be difficult to act in the personality of the other - sustainably, unless that person is an expert..try it, it is hard to do...everyone falls somewhere in the middle - base..slight adjustments to personality is done on a daily basis... roco
