Oh BTW, I'm home. Boss lied to me, then got stupid. Bummer for him. 2 guys quit this week. He's almost out of employees. Might be by sunday. Oh and his checks bounced wednesday and they scrambled to cover them. Aren't sinking ships fun? |

Small work groups (4 route drivers and 1 supervisor) can face hard times quickly. Monday morning, first thing, a new driver self-terminated and went ballistic with wild accusations about the company. Tuesday morning, my vehicle's driver's window was shattered by a bullet. (Got it fixed Wednesday morning.) Wednesday--noonish--another driver's apartment building suffered a fire while he was in college classes. Thursday: Freezing rain and gusting wind starting now...to continue for about one week. Fridaay: As if this isn't enough, this week, what's coming? There's gremlins hustling to do something. I can feel it.  |

There's gremlins hustling to do something. I can feel it. Wanting is two steps short of getting and keeping. 1. We need to determine how to take control of our lives, in our work space, and then take action on that decision. 2. Keep the route to success written down and secret, for when we need to think of the unthinkable again. We have the faith. We can do it. We will outlive this bout, and let's not waste the opportunity. If the old wisdom is worth anything, those of us who come out on top during hard/anxious/bizarre circumstances tend to stay successful. |
