If the Ancient Egyptian Civilization never existed would Christianity ever exist today?

Was the Egyptian Civilization the driving force for the Jewish people to have thrived or to go as far as they have to create their own settlement when asked to leave the Pharoah's empire?

Or do you think it has no merit and Christianity wouldn have evolved anyway?

What are your thoughts on this?

Egypt was a learning place for the children of Israel and Joseph way back. The bible would be completely different it would seem for a 600 year period or more i believe..Shalom...Miles

So if the Egyptian Empire didn't exist then the studies of the children of Israel and Joseph would have been limited.

or are you saying that Christianity would have evolved anyway but only 600 years later making our date today 1409 instead?

or is it that the religion of the Jews would have been perhaps more advanced and the country of Israel would have evolved sooner.

I find it interesting that sometimes a single decision can change the outcome of history of a religion or belief system.

Moses was raised as an Egyptian, if he were not he wouldn't received the respect from his followers he needed nor had the power or influence to set in motion the events that led up to the Jews' exodus.

Do you think that perhaps their distaste of Egyptian belief system led to the belief of one God

or do you think that they just took the idealogy of the Pharoah that once had everyone believe in one God only before losing his throne and all other Pharoahs reinstated in making everyone believe in many gods.

In otherwords do you think the ancient egyptian belief system had a great influence in the creation of the Jewish faith system?

If the Ancient Egyptian Civilization never existed, I'm sure Jesus would have a different story, since the story of Jesus mirrors, almost perfectly, the story of Horus, from the Book of the Dead.

It would be interesting if we had the power to rewind time to see how much different history would be if an Ancient Egyptian Civilization wouldn't have existed?

Of course we will never know, but at least we can speculate of what could have been.

Egpyt was the perfect place to ride out the 7 year famine. Also Egpyt at the time was the superpower of the region. Yahweh proved his dominance over earthly powers. They were also very much into worshipping other gods. Yahweh proved his dominance over them also. Pharoh is a picture of the coming anti-christ.

This is interesting:

Egypt would never again rule over nations
Bible prophecy: Ezekiel 29:15
Prophecy written: Between 593-571 BC
Prophecy fulfilled: Since the time of Ezekiel about 2500 years ago

In Ezekiel 29:15, the prophet says that Egypt would recover from a desolation (perhaps Babylon's attack about 2600 years ago), but that it would never again rule over other nations. Up until the time of Ezekiel, Egypt had been a world power for centuries, dominating many nations, including Israel. But for most of the past 2500 years, Egypt has been controlled by foreign powers, including the Romans, Ottomans and Europeans. Today, Egypt is again an independent nation, and it has always been an impressive nation. But since the time of Ezekiel, it no longer rules over other nations. - Copyright © George Konig, Ray Konig and 100Prophecies.org

Ezekiel 29:15:

… I will make it so weak that it will never again rule over the nations.
