We were all new here once....I remember when I signed up in 1947, most of the threads were about rebuilding Germany and how long it would take for television to fizzle out.... |

Have you posted on here and folks come back with discounting remarks, pretty much telling you, you and your opinion is worthless? If I have an opinion on something I researched and post it here, I have no problem with another poster coming on and offering evidence to back up their opinion But, to come on here and accuse others of being racist, narrow-minded or un-American, just because the views are different, to me, is abusive. Without naming names, have you felt put-down, or belittled by other posters and what do you suppose the Mods should do about those who are repeatedly abusive? One's man's put down is another mans giggle.... wanna play 'nice' go for it...wanna play real? tell it how it is. I would rather be discounted and demeaned, than have false platitudes and asss kissing bullsh*te rammed down my throat. The system works here well, always has.... be personally derogatory.... get your butt kicked....keep it up.... get suspended... try again..... banned. It is not rocket science. |

With 14 gazillion posts and nearly two years on this site....it's bound to be a repeat, as lex said, we are all new once....sometimes it's fun to revisit old topics... It's not lame to mind repeats, otherwise the Brady bunch and M*A*S*H would have died a fast death in 1979 |

I am sure many disagree with me at times as I disagree with them. I think that is just the nature of forums. I also believe that to post in forums you must develop a thick skin and not let things bother you. As for the MOD'S on here I think this is one of the best sites for not allowing bashing and trashing. I think these MOD'S do a wonderful job. I also believe that it is a user's responsibility to report a post that they believe is breaking the rules since they can't be in all places at once. I also think that if and when it gets to the point of any user repeated breaking the rules they will act accordingly. |
