sir i started balding when i was 16 and when i was 17 it started to get really noticable. when i turned 20 i started detecting several silvee hairs near and within my sideburns. it was then that i said 'eff it' and shaved all the damn hair off. you play with the cards dealt and thank christ u still have a decent head of hair.

As you can see I have LOTS of gray in my goatee and if I let my hair grow, I have even more. So should I by stock in Grecian Hair Color?

I like it
leave it in!

I've never coloured, it is a very good question.

I'm hoping I'll be brave enough to just enjoy it white. Would hate the mess of dye, hate that roots look too.

Getting white (not grey, huh?) ones has just begun recently. I'm going to use Emmy Lou Harris as my role model. She looks so fine all white!

You look good to me w/ the grey, Peccy, very distinguished. It is a badge of honour, sir. flowerforyou

Tried dying mine once....

...wound up with the Reid Richards / Mr. Fantastic look.....no kidding. I followed the instructions to the letter, and ALL of my hair turned dark brown EXCEPT the sides!!

Finally, after that episode, I said "No more....the grey stays...."

However sexist it may appear of me, it just seems too feminine if a guy preens and primps too much over his appearance. A dye job would be included.

For some reason, to me at least, guys look pretty good with gray in their hair.

I totally agree with you about a guy coloring his hair or beard to cover gray.

My brother used to get his hair and beard colored. Pretty funny to see us together. He was 8 yrs older than me, but I have all the gray in my goatee/mustache.

Anyway I am vain enough to admit I bought the 'Just for Men' stuff.
Well you have to mix two colors together to get the color you want. Then I find out you can't wash you face with regular soap or this stuff will wash out.
Too much trouble.
Stay with the gray.

If it's temporary, like some of the posts say, just do it and see if you like it. If so...great! If not...it goes away! What makes you happy is what will make your lady happy, in the end. flowerforyou

I had lots of grey in my mid 30's, people wanted to know where I got my hair frosted as it looked so natural..LOL Then I went to silver and now a beautiful shade of white.. Have more important things to do with my money and time to color.. Two of my 3 girls are the same way, one colors hers.. Just enjoy and be glad you have it... happy
