Yes. That's what invariably happens when you do the FWB thing with an ex- any un-resolved feelings you have for that person will show through, which (after a certain point) will mean that you'll open yourself up to more pain and anguish. Your best course of action would be to make a clean break and go onto something else.

No. If it was an ex you didnt care for, then that would be ok. Its not called, ex with benefits, its friends with benefits. It will only hurt you in the long run if the relationship is really over.

Ohio, if you have feelings for him other than friendship, it won't end well and you will be hurt. The basic FWB rule is nothing beyond friendship and sex. Good Luck.
