Why does someone choose to love somebody that does not love them back? How can someone let go of these feelings and move on? We do not "choose" who we love, we cannot control our feelings. All we can do is allow our head to rule our heart, and accept that it was never meant to be cos it wasnt mutual. We r all entitled to mutual love. |

In short, we want what we can't have. That goes particularly when dealing with dating and emotions (or lack thereof). We hope they change, we hope they "see the light" and open up with themselves, but -in the end- they just don't.
The only way to "move on" is to toughen-up and just move on. Unfortunately, your own feelings will withdraw into your shell, but that's a small price to pay. |

some people want what they don't have moving on takes time and the realisation that we each deserve someone that is as devoted as we are to them

My daughter has this problem...a boy likes her and practically stalks her and he won't take no for an answer...he has a baby and another one on the way and is going to Iraq in April. I for one can't wait for him to leave.
