my friend emailed me and said that it said i had emailed him an hour ago... yet i had just sent it? the time stamp was off... also i erase who looked at me.... and all of a sudden this person popped up and it said he viewed my profile 24 days ago? they were all erased off there lol!

I have not been able to duplicate either of these problems using a variety of set-ups, so that's a good sign.

When I logged on a few hours ago it said that had a message, yet it doesn't appear in my mail...weird, that's a first.

ive been noticing that too. i think the pages arent refreshing or something. i will see i have a mail then when i click the inbox link, theres no new mail there.

We haven't made any changes to the caching on our side, guys. My suggestion would be to empty your cache, delete your Mingle2 cookies, and log in again. I hope it works.

As Charles is suggesting above, it does sound like a caching issue. One thing i would point out though, if you are using vista, there are multiple issues with java. These issues are being resolved, but it seems there are many of them.

Usually, but not always, java only effects the way a web page is read, and displayed. It can, however, effect functions of that page, including internal links. Disappearing text, missing control options, missing headers and the like, can all be, a java issue.

If you have already tried clearing cache and cookies, and you are using a vista os, i would definitely go to the official java website, and download the latest version. I cannot promise this will fix the problem, but if you use vista, a java update is a good idea.

I signed up earlier today and received the standard Welcome message and with it, two pieces of spam in my in box, all from the same user, "Mingle2".

Welcome to the site, BigSky1970. All messages from Mingle2 are system emails. They are legitimate.

OK, thanks charles for the clarification. I thought perhaps it might have been another account merely spoofing.
