Don't get me wrong... I've given my phone number out and had some lovely conversations with people I've met here. But for Cripe's sake, let me get to know you first!! Two or three emails through M2 isn't exactly making me warm, ya know? *hand clap* DITTO |

funny. Anyone that knows my phone number either has known me for a long time or is a client. Usually when an "old" friend calls me it goes like this: "Hey Jack...was just thinking about you. Hows it going?". (blah blah blah) My reply, then "BY THE WAY, my computer started acting up and I was wondering....". Sad...so sad.

Usually I let them know straight up I will go to voice chat off site way before I give them my phone number.
I recently had someone that I had emailed with a few times and I was interested in being friends with he asked for my number. I asked instead for his since I like to make the first call and block my number. He refused and well he also quit emailing sad really since I liked him as a "Friend only cat." Anyone that pushes me for my number will find I back up really far. I then will insist on voice chat for awhile.. Sorry just going to be cautious. I learned the hard way about giving out my number. If someone really wants to get to know me they will go to voice chat first. IF not then we were both wasting our time. |

its simple you have to sit in one place to talk on the computer but most people have text and you can move around with that good thing its your choice to give them your number or not...

I don't mind giving my number out, my phone is relatively useless as a paperweight so even if I do get some jackass call it is using something I'm needlessly paying for anyway.
