How do I post a pic in my reply on a community board?

in your post you need to open the picture's link with " [ img ] and after the link you need to close it with [ /img ] without the inserted spaces.
the result is: click quote to see the text i used. |

thank you. is there a way to post a pic from my own files instead of from the web? Hi, Linda. It's not possible to do that, I'm afraid. A photo has to be on the web for it to work here. You can upload the photo to your profile (looks like you have room) and then post it, though. |

Charles, it worked for me from my pictures folder! I just loaded it onto my photobucket account and transferred it to here. |

downhomechik, I'm afraid that the file you used above is not a valid photo URL. It has to have .gif, .jpg, or .bmp at the end of it.
[*img*]http://www.flickr.com/photos/matilde/344210800/ [*/img*] Also, you need to get rid of the spaces, which I have marked above with *s Poetrywriter, after you have uploaded your photo to photobucket, it is on the web. |

Shows how much I know about computers, Charles! I did not know that! |
