It's hard to keep putting a product on the shelves when no one is buying it -- even though everyone claims to want it....

Ya know what most people are all of those things and more. They just have different viewpoints and need to connect with people that maintain similar viewpoints. I don't believe most people are not decent. I believe rigidty is more to blame.

Well, I'm speaking more to the "deceptive" aspect of the whole thing. Someone says "I want X" and then you put X in front of them and say "Here's X" and then they say "Well, that's not what I want." Makes you wonder why they ever claimed to want X in the first place.

Rigidity is another thing entirely. I think as long as someone is up front about it, and consistent, it's useful -- it helps avoid untenable situations down the road. Rigidity, properly handled, entails no deception.

I understand your points, but was really speaking of peoples inability to compromise. I, also, agree people can be misleading often to the point of not understanding what it truly is that they want.

There are also those people who know what they want, and are misled by people who do not understand themselves or what they desire in life. I find it very sad to be honest.

Even if a guy claims to be "nice", he still has to be attractive to the one looking for the nice guy, along with good manners and hygiene and all that... and you have to be compatible, too. One or more of those are usually the problem. It has nothing to do with not wanting a nice guy. I wish all the whiners would get that in their brains already.

I agree.
I also think there is someone, or more so some people because I can't imagine only "one" other person for you out there, for everyone.
I believe in fate, fate brings two together. It is dedication and compromise that seals the cracks.

Hmmm, good point. I hope it's not true though. If there is only one girl out there for me, the world is pretty big. I guess I just have to trust that I will find her.

I know it isn't ever going to work out this way, but I wish everyone could find someone.
Being alone for a lifetime would be horrible, unless by choice.
