The question really is: did the vampires evolve or were they created?

the lust for blood has been shown in history that it really exists

and there are actually big communities of people who believe they are vampires. They don't like to be called vampires though, but have a different name sanguarians or psychic vampires.

Psychic vampires believe they can harness energy to feed themselves

sanguarians(Spelled wrong) need to drink blood or they actually get sick and end up in the hospital

now concerning shapeshifting into a bat, being invulnerable, fearing the sun, or the cross or silver well I would say Hollywood profit big on this for we all in some sense wish we had supernatural powers and they knew that it would draw a huge crowd

I would say vampires will always appeal to the human mind, some more then others just for the fact of their ablities, charm, and wit.

In the philosophy thread there is one who claims she is a vampire and was looking for someone likeminded.

and there are documentaries to watch, which is very interesting

If it was written in the bible, I couldn't tell you. I guess most would say no. I am not a expert in these documents. Actually I learned most of what the bible teaches here in this forum from Jeannie and James(abra), and funches.

Morningsong, feralcatlady, are usually credited also for posting their scriptures with it.

but if we look at Jesus and how he dies on a cross with all that blood, I can only see how vampires just lust for the scenery themselves. Where the writers of the bible vampires?

Whatever the case maybe, yes in history there are many stories of humans who lust and enjoy the taste of blood.

and of course Count Dracula was a hero for Romania. Not because he lusted for blood, he didn't eat or drink blood, but he had used unusual tactics to turn around huge armies from invading his country. He is a hero for Romanians and not to be confused with the Count Dracula the original author wrote of.

I assume this is so, as the bible seems to be based on the slaughter of the s, Abram getting ready to kill his son, G-d his son, etc. Not to mention all the directives to kill and slaughter. Mmmm, Xianity is finally starting to make sense to me now.

Could you educate me on Xianity? I have seen you wrote this occassionally on other posts. What is Xianity? I mean yes I could google it, but would like to see in your words if you have the time.

oh wow and here I am thinking these are somekind of Alien witnessings or stone tablets that where discovered that tell a whole story. I am laughing now. lol

Okay sounds good

well yes the bible can be seen so many different ways. The imagination is strong and maybe even come to some truths when looking back at history.

Whatever it is worth there are a great many people that actually have different opinions on it.

So what is your conclusion on the whole story of the bible?

I read the Book of J, which the bible is based on and it is a simple yet elegant myth of creation and suggestions for how one should live. I think that Paul created Xianity and not Jesus and that Paul had some serious mental illness. Otherwise, nice poetry.

That is one possiblity. I mean who is to say this is not correct.

I mean maybe the bible was written by a bunch of frustrated scholars.

As a writer if one is frustrated you write in such a manner. If one is calm and settled one writes differently.

There are emotions, pschological issues, illnesses, and other things to consider when these words where placed in this book.
