we had some guy come into work, we give food vouchers in the amount of $20 for people who qualify. well, this dude went to the grocery store and bought an mp3 player with it. needless to say, he owes our office money, and he'll never be able to get assistance again.

You can buy an mp3 player at a grocery store? I am still in shock everytime I walk into a store down here in florida and see that they sell beer. Is PA the only state that has state stores, and beer distributors?

I dunno about PA being the only ones, I think I would find it weird if you could not go into the grocery store and buy booze.
UPDATE... NOT A GOOD IDEA TO DO A CAKE IN THE MICROWAVE!!! LOL it's got a funny burnt taste to it on the top and the bottom is runny from the frosting LOL! I'm still eating it, I want cake, but yeah I'll never make this again! |

They sell Beer and wine in regular stores here. For hard stuff, you need to go to the state store.

For those worrying about biker updates- I just got released from the hospital. About 2:30 today while unloading stainless steel tubing in harlem chicago a 5 foot steel tube standing on end came down and beaned me in the head. My hardhat, safety glasses, wool cap, and clothes ruined. Police, fire rescue, and EMS showed up and strapped me in a carondolet and into an ambulance. I asked them where they were taking me. They said north memorial. I refused and signed off. There's no way I'm going to a hospital in harlem chicago. BEEN THERE DONE THAT. Gunshot trauma patients from gang shootings take priority and it would have been up to 36 hours to see me. And sitting 36 hours with a snaggletooth bum sitting next to me screaming "GIMME A DOLLAR"!!!! Would be too much to take not to mention all the fat welfare whores screaming at their sick chitlins. And sick kids coughing on me. F*ck that. I got in my truck and raced to sturtevant to all saints pre empted and notified. Emergency met me at door. Quick paperwork, great on call staff, wonderful doctor. 2 hours and 15 minutes. Head full of pretty stitches and lidocaine. Gauze and ice packs and cleanser. I'm gonna be ok. I'm heading into town to get a much needed shower and rest. Long damn day.
