William Lynn is Obama’s new Deputy Secretary of Defense at the pentagon.

He is currently the Senior Vice President of Government Operations and top Lobbyist for the nations top missile manufacturer Raytheon.
This company has 100s of potential contracts pending for 2009 after bringing in $10 billion in 2008. The Whitehouse said the waver was “Based on Exigent circumstances relating to national security.”

Talk in the Pentagon, Gen. James Conway suggests all marines be moved from Iraq to Afghanistan.
