We're going into our last week in March and several folks have not yet received anything from their pals. Some folks have not even returned to this thread to acknowledge receipt of a gift or that they have sent anything out.
 To those who do not receive anything, please accept my deepest apologies. Myself and two others are sending out to folks who pals have dropped out, but obviously we won't be able to do this for everyone. If you do not receive anything from your pal for March and are signed up for April and now wish to drop out, it is completely understandable. Just notify me in e-mail and I will remove you from the list. Anyone who does not at least acknowledge receipt of a gift, or does not send a gift AND does not notify me they have dropped out, will not be eligible to participate in the future. Also, due to the issues we have had with packages going across the border to other countries and the considerable cost involved, I am inclined at this time to limit the exchange to the states only...please let me know your thoughts on this. |

I totally agree with you...If they chose to participate...they need to return GIFTS as well...It is not fair for you to take over that job...I know that we ALL understand that too
  Btw..I thought mine came in yesterday...but it was my AB=Rocket ..that I ordered...but I was HAPPY to see that anyway

OK...here is the deal...I just found out that my package to my secret pal was NOT mailed as I thought my friend would do for me....I am SOOOOOOOO embarrassed!!!! If I do not see my pal post in the next few days...I will email my pal to let them know who I am and that it is coming. So much for trusting in someone for a favor. Once again...if you are one of those who has not gotten a gift yet....be on the look out, and I'm soooooooo sorry!

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope my pal enjoyed what they received. Haven't seen any posts from them. I am off to take a walk, its cool out but warm enough to take a walk around town.

 Okay, here's how this works. Towards the end of every month I will ask for folks to be Secret Pals to someone for the following month. Presently, I am seeking Secret Pals for April. If you would like to participate, write me and give me your home address. Once I have the names of all who would like to participate for that month, I will assign secret pals. You must be willing to share your home address You are to send the person I assign you for that month a surprise, i.e., a card, a note, a refrigerator magnet, a bookmark, a lottery ticket, a postcard.... anything specific to that member or your area would be great, but it can be whatever you choose. Because of issues with packages crossing the borders and the cost involved I'm afraid I have to limit this to the US only. The list will change monthly, so if you want to participate again the following month, you must wrte me and let me know you want to participate again. This is a good reason to start a scrap book! When you receive something from your secret pal, come back here and let us know. Anyone who does not at least acknowledge receipt of a gift, or does not send a gift AND does not notify me they have dropped out, will not be eligible to participate in the future. I am removing myself from being eligible to pal with anyone so that I might serve as back-up should someone not be able to follow through for whatever reason. |
