How much does a school nurse make?
I was thinking about it and after a few years of working in the hospital, I want to relax. I heard that it's rather laid back and you get a lot of time off.

I just checked salary.com and here in Texas, they make 45K. You may want to go with a hospital for nursing, huge sign on bonuses right now and 4-12's a week, which isn't bad.

Good Luck!

Thank you so much:). Yeah, I was going to work in the hospital while still living with my parents and save up some money and then go to the school nursing.

Not here! It is all the same. They prefer it but you don't HAVE to have it

Sounds like my job!

Working 12 hours shifts is great, you get so much more time off to enjoy.
