It's a day where a partner can't come up with any excuse on why he/she...mainly he...didn't get the other a gift. Though it should be shown every day, this day is just one way to waste money. Well, that's my opinion.

Oh, I definitely have to agree with you there! Easter is one of my biggest weaknesses when it comes to holidays!

It is kind of a kick in the butt to people to remember that love is nice and it's ok to express it. Good way to re-invigorate dud relationships. Great time to stock up on stuff to do weddings. Even if you don't have a love in your life it does make you remember that you can feel it.

/shrug, it's labeled. I don't mind it at all. Sometimes people get caught up in life and it's a good reminder to take a step back and a day off to just be with the person you love. If you're single or just starting in a relationship, it's a good way to show someone you care about them that might not know how much you do.

nothing knows what is had, or feels what it gets, or knows what it wants, until expectations are despised and discarded as old dirty shoes, that stink up the feet with each step of the foot??? expectations blind the eye's to the wolves that tear at it's flesh??? |
