No, but I have actually been polite to a police officer.shocked

Same case: Copd said "Jack, you're the most polite guy that I've ever had to arrest". Verbatim. I'm sure my compliance and manners helped in my low bond. Can't hurt. Most cops are just doing thier job.

We are all aware of certain obscure laws that are still on the books... Everything from spitting on the sidewalk to sodomy... Should ALL laws be abided by...just because they're on the books? Who here has NEVER broken a law?

I'd hate to be caught in Irvine california on a sidewalk with an ice cream cone in my pocket.

I'm still disturbed about Stonekeeper's post about beheading someone who spits on the sidewalk in New Orleans...scared

There's alot of laws still "on the books" that are ridiculous. A couple that come to mind Co-Habitaion and Adultery laws. In many states Adultery is still a criminal offense but when's the last time u've seen a cheatin spouse charged with it? Here in MS it's against the law to co-habitate for the first 6 months noway so once u get thru that 6 months ur good to go  Like I said ridiculous! slaphead

Oh, I've never knowingly broken any laws shades
