Foreign films really do rock. Oh...life weaves it's intricate web once again....The perfect theme song For the RUMPUS ROOM ...and crazy coincidentals to boot....   drinker  flowerforyou

The web is always on its intricate weave. My question, is it ever on the mend? Here is to the tapestry of life and the many, infinite colours.drinker

There are SO many more films I want to share. That one is pure art, beauty and passion, my deal. I need to go buy it again, left my copy in Europe.

Think I'll go watch either The Unbearable Lightness of Being(on my top 10, and I'm one VERY hard-put to such narrowing limitations!),or, Henry and June. Familiar w/ either, Sir Phoenix from the ashes?

Ugghhh ... Wish I could get through a single post w/ out typos. I'm a 2-fingered lack of...

Heard of em' but not sure if I've seen em'. Last good art flick I saw was Basquiat....and Nabakov's Lolita starring Jeremy Irons was great.

Henry and June, was a book by Anais Nin, about her relationship w/ Henry Miller(the author) and his wife, June. Haven't seen it in years, 'twas very good. I was just reminded of it whilst I searched youtube for scenes from Unbearable Lightness of Being. See Unbearable, OMG - pure poetry!!!!!!!

Yes, Basquiat is very good. Never been a big fan of his art, sad cut-short life. Used to die w/ mad crush for Jeremy Irons, me-e-ow. His role in French Lieutenant's Woman- drove me up a wall w/ fever. Confessions from the cobwebbed crypt.

No, but I really desire to. I've just bought "I'm Not There", the art film about Bob Dylan's life. Haven't watched it yet, missed it at the Cinema, sadly. I LOVE  Dylan SO much, hoping they got it right and did him proud. Have you seen it?

Man, I'm jealous...It's a Sam Pecinpah(?) film right? What was the name of that famous old Dylan movie....God it's on the tip of my tongue. Great documentary!

No, Peckinpapah died in '84 or '85, rip, GREAT director. And, yes, he did "Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid". Kris Kristofferson was in it too. SO good, if memory serves - been a LONG while. "I'm Not There" came out 2008(07?). Guess I should break down and watch it, been saving it - climax and all, you understand. Just finally got the Bourne Conspiracy set too, L  ove it wicked good!

Couple -o- more sisters to balm anything left, below (from another great film, btw!!!) ... Baccione Bello. smooched
