Do you tend to use abbreviations often, or do you type out full words most of the time? Are there certain abbreviations that bug you more than others?

Type them out most of the time. When texting and in a hurry will abbreviate.

no, i don't use abbreviations often and the only times that i am bothered by them are when the full text isn't inserted in the first time usage of it.. roco

Most of the time, I can ignore it. But, when someone types a full sentence of abbreviated words? That gets annoying pretty quickly. Also, when people are writing emails at work and can't even spell out words such as "you", it bugs me. I see it as being unprofessional.

My faves are WTF...FTW...& STFU... Not haveing the need to text people I always try to spell out everything..Keeps me sharp so the spelling and grammar police don't arrest me... With that in mind I have to ask what does FTW , stfu and milf mean?

I usually write out the whole word.. I also do that while texting. ;) I do occasionally use wtf and btw though. And of course.. lol.
