karma?
I say yes because I've seen it happen too much to be coincidence. |

As far as I'm concerned, if there's such a thing, it's of the bad sort- there are days where the absolute dumbest crap will happen, enough to make me think about what I did in a past life to deserve it.

I'm kind of on the fence on it. Not sure which side to take yet.

Well...since in the strict definition of Karma what you do in a PREVIOUS LIFE determines your lot in your present life, I see no evidence of Karmic influence....and neither does anyone else.
I hate being the smartass, but it's my job. |

I don't believe in it. People have some sort of need to try to impose "systems" on random occurrences, and fabricate the idea of a "balance." I just think this ends up needing a supernatural explanation to be a viable scenario -- who or what determines the nature of the "balance"? -- and I have yet to see any evidence of this being the case.
Like when ancient people looked up into the night sky and determined that this clump of 5 stars over here is a chariot, that clump of 7 stars over there is a bear, whatever. Sometimes a clump of stars is just a clump of stars. |

As many philosophies use the phrase karma or something akin to that and I don't subscribe to them....
I prefer the adage "What goes around comes around". |

It would be nice to think so but No.
In my 49 years, I've not seen any evidence of it. |

I believe in what comes around goes around and got to witness it with my ex-husband. He leaves me for another woman, screws me outta everything we had built together in the marriage. He marries her then 6 yrs later she leaves him for another man and takes half of everything, including his retirement pension!
