(((((Cindy))))).. How is the family?...Are you getting used to not having the bed all to yourself?...  So much better sharing! Missing the kids. One son has moved to Arizona since I left Washington, (he also asked his g/f to marry him.   He has no means of income, wonder how he'll pull THAT off!?)...and my youngest daughter and son-in-law are making me a first time Grandma this fall! Oldest daughter & son-in-law are visiting the states from Australia in April/May, but have choosen to go to Disneyland instead of visiting me in Albuquerque. Other son is still working full time...need to call him and catch up. How are you? |

Congrats Cindy on being a grandmother..I hear that it is a blast...  I'm doing well thanks...I have finally gotten all settled in with my son and daughter in law and learned the "rules of the house".. When I first got here my son sat me down and said "Mumf, you have to understand that as this is my house you will have to live by my rules"....So when I was able to breath again after laughing so hard he gave me a hug and said that he had waited years to be able to say that.... I'm having a great time here with them and they have been such good support....

my hometown newspaper is doing an artical about my grandparents for valentines day & will be in the paper that day. my parents friend had called & told the paper they should do this because they are they only people that have been married 74 yrs. I thought that was really nice of her. they reporter interviewed them yesterday & my grandpa had alot of fun telling the reporter stories. and though my grandma isnt doing well these days she got up & got all fancy for this & was pleasent the whole time. a miracle all around. so i thought youd like to hear this. they are saving a paper for me [my parents]. 74 years??....That is just wonderful....  Maybe I should read that paper and take notes seeing as I couldn't even make 74 months.... |
