when someone posts that they're, "Looking for their one and only, Looking for the one, or Looking for their other half" is that not indicating that they are looking for a bit more than the Activity Partner or the Dating that they have posted?
It really doesn't make a difference to me because I have a gf, but isn't that like a bait and switch? |

I would think they wanted a mate. I think of activity partner as a buddy. NOt dating.

since i view male profiles it screams desperately clingy and will be up my azz 24/7...not attractive traits in a man...maybe men have a different take on this than i do...

Well you have to start somewhere but it is nice to know the goal. It does seem like some profiles contradict themselves.

Maybe they are looking to settle down, but have a busy schedule and don't have the time needed to be in a committed relationship just yet. So they are leaving their options open to just having someone to hang out with for the time being.
Who knows anymore. |

I don't think our profiles offer enough options. I would just LOVE to have the option to post,
"Not looking for a damn thing." |

Yes, it is clearly a "bait and switch".

first of all "looking for an activity partner" shouldn't even be a choice.i mean come on you actually gonna want a woman to rock climb with or mountain bike with, maybe even play chinese checkers with and thats it.

Yes I would think that they were looking for commitment
Activity Partner, yes, I am sure they are looking for a bit more.....but maybe they will find a girl better at rock climbing or snow boarding than they are. I personally know quite a few really good female paintball players, surfers, snow boarder's, skiiers, and boxers. |
