On 2/7/09 The body of Devon McMarrolly was found in his room. He was 26. Last I chatted with him, he seemed fine. I do not know what happened. But I do at the same time. I have always been there for him. Guess I couldn't this time. Devon, I'm sorry I wasn't there for you.... I failed you Brother, I miss you brother, I love you brother.... Let your dreams carry you home.... Sorry to hear about your loss. It's always a tragedy when a young life is taken by his own hand. Hopefully the pain he felt and could not share is no longer with him.

well that sucks rocks. i hope the grieving process is a light one. i never know what to say in this kinda situation.. i end up cracking jokes, offending people and then skulking off. sooo... yeah. okay bye.

I have lost many, many a friend over the years, in every fashion imaginable. Not a day goes by without keeping them close to my heart. It is comforting to know they will be there for me when I too achieve a higher plane of existence. I find your post moving.

So sorry for you're loss. I know that it hurts, and we want to "be there" for our friends. But, sometimes, life puts us in a different place. Its not you're fault. Some people go on a "self-destruct" path..Just know, his pain is over, and you're still carrying the load..Forgive yourself, and just remember the "love" you had for you're friend...He would want that...
