I miss the good morning kisses, the calls from work to just say I love you and how is your day going? The hug and kiss hello, the little pats, hugs and pecks for no reason, the kiss goodnight and snuggling off to sleep, the wildflowers that he picked along the road because "they were pretty just like you", the "you look tired today, go rest and I'll cook supper, or clean, or whatever", the companionship, but mostly I miss my Bernie more than words could ever express!!! I was so spoiled and I feel so guilty and ashamed that I never realized it til it was too late. The best part, however, is seeing all of my sons treat their wives/girlfriend with the same love, respect, and tenderness that their dad treated me with. He was a wonderful role model!

I miss someone to spoil me.

I miss everything,even the fights over those turn it is to do what-ever.I'm so lonely,I hate to go places by myself,no one to talk to when things go wrong,no one to hold you when you need a good cry.I want someone to share everything with.

I've found getting involved with community activities/groups or church helps a lot. I know it's not the same as having someone special in your life, but it's much better than truly being alone.

I miss having someone to talk to and cuddle with. I have become so independent that I don’t see it ever happing again. So many years wasted loving someone that never loved me I feel so fkning stupid not to have seen it.

Love is truly blind, TIm. Don't beat yourself up.

Yeah I find it that way too.I think the more we get close to our 60's people will want to settle down again. It sure is the all about me world out there. Some times I think people do that and say that out of fear of rejection.

I think part of it is that they have been screwed over so many times they have given up on

Thanks Don and Musichic. Sometimes It is hard to explain what I'm feeling,for I'm not very good with words and I don't want to bore people. Something small in my life could be important to me and to you nothing at all.

AHHHH....but we DO understand, it is, after all, the small things in life that we ALL miss the most! (((hugs)))
