A friend shares her 5 grandkids with me. 4 girls from 8-4 & 1 boy 2. The boy, Zeb Gunnar, & I get along great. While watching all 5 kids today, this lady needed to take 1 girl to a birthday party, 25 miles across town,for 1.5 hr. Now not much sense in dirving back & forth 4 times, so she decided to take the other 3 shopping, but what to do with Zeb, not enough room for 5 car seats. Called me & have been watching him since noon. It has brought back the simple pleasures of playing truck, building with blocks of wood, reading kiddy story books & in all just enjoying the simplest pleasures of life & again seeing life thru a 2 yr olds eyes.

REMEMBER those days??

Yes I so do remember.
But nowadays, having them for a couple of hours, knowing I can give them back, the pleasure is even greater.

When all 5 are here, my time limit is about 3 hrs.
Then I LEAVE.

I love little kids, especially those i can give back. Love to play on the floor with them, read to them. But, I don't tolerate bad behavior.

I use to love playing with my grandchilren, we would set on the floor playing with the cars and trucks, playing outside in the sand with the stuff. Having snow ball fights in the winter. Now they are all grown up and we don't do that anymore. I really miss it.

My favorite thing to do with little ones is to read them a story but change the story. For instance. I read little red riding hood but read it as little red lives in the hood and the big bad wolf is a bully on a tricycle. It's fun to change the story and see the kids reactions.

What a great idea!! Everyone knows I love the grandkids. Love to hear the funny things they say, love to have "tea parties" and the like . . .

I like being with them as they get older also. I have a niece in HS and a nephew in Middle school. They're lots of fun. No grandkids yet. I'm still to young to be a grandma.

Little buddy got me, put him in the tub to clean up. YEAH, that bad.

Funny Sage the joys watching the little ones. :) Sweet and innocent :) I cried when I took my daugther to her first day of junior high school. Now I enjoy these 2 grandkids :)

Oh tear the sides of the pull ups don't pull them down :)
