If I meet someone, I dont smoke before or during the date....If I think he's worth further dating, it would give me an incentive to quit.... We all have bad habits....I wont date someone that uses constant vulgar language, is a sloppy dresser, poor hygiene...Come on now....  Ya, I smoke also...try to be considerate about it..but, yea..kissing an ashtray is a turnoff.. hygiene, hygiene...be considerate....

ever since i quit smoking, and realize how crappy and stinky it is on someone else, haha, i would prefer to date, and hang around, people who don't smoke.
i wonder why it is that i can't smell any of that on my boyriend though, and he's a smoker. even if i kiss him immediately after he butts out, all i smell is his own personal scent and he still tastes great. i thought it might have been because of the yankee cigarettes but i always remember them as being even more stinky than canuck smokes. i guess it just boils down to loving someone in spite of the traits they have that you don't much like and being able to overlook them (or even not notice them). ~~~ oh, when he smokes his pipe, with the black cherry tobacco......

I dont have ill feelings toward smokers. but if i really like a girl an go on some dates an wanna get sum smooches woo woo but then find out she smokes, instant turn off. guys? ladies? ur thoughts?  I've never smoked a cigarette in my life, but I'm not bothered by people who do. My last gf was a smoker and there was never a problem with that. |

It doesn't bother me either way as long as they have good hygiene.

 i am not a smoker but i don't mind kissing one,provided she is a beautiful woman...The PC Police have made smokers lives pretty tuff as they try to impose their will and take away the rights of the individual...be seeing you

I only smoke outside, not in my house or car, and always carry mints for before I go into any social situation.

I always keep gum and mints because I do smoke and washing my hands is important too because the smell tends to cling there too. If I am around someone who doesn't smoke I smoke less so it is actually good for me. Now if they are a whiner about it though it gets to where I smoke just cause they whine so that doesn't work out well.

haha i just quit 4 days ago cold turkey and i thought i wouldn't care if my girlfriend smoked, now i can't stand the smell of the crap!!!

If my guy did smoke, I won't kiss him while he has it lit..... If he really wants a kiss, do something to get that taste out of your mouth first.....drink something, chew gum..... Those Listerine pocket strips work wonderfully for that. :-) But it's still in their hair and clothes.   |

hmmm, I smoke but not in my house and am very respectful of nonsmokers. I cant stand guys who chew, but if I cared enough, I suppose I could deal with it!
