Topic: Dow Jones up over 13,000 Today | |
---|---|
About a month ago the stock market took a 400 or so point drop in one
day and one of our liberal brethern here began crying gloom and doom and blamed the whole thing on President Bush. I have neither the time nor the inclination to search through all the threads to refresh my memory as to who it was. At the time I stated that the market was due for a correction and that it would come back, as today shows it did. Further, I would look for some profit taking soon that will drop the market a bit again, that is the nature of the beast. What I am wondering is, would whoever was blaming Bush for the previous loss be willing to give him credit for todays gains? Perhaps as a gesture of good will I could treat you to lunch, that is as soon as I find a restaruant that serves Crow |

Hmm. Try south america or asia. They cook everything else.
And of course they won't give him credit. Because liberals suck like that. But, to be fair, if it were a democratic president, the conservatives wouldn't be giving him credit, either. |

Davinci you seem to ignore the fact that orders for durable goods are up
employment is the lowest it has been in ages and I just talked with my broker, the market just opened and it's going up again, gee once again when the facts don't support the liberal argument, the liberals change the subject. |

not a liberal gardenforge...I vote libertarian...and I'm
a Marine vet from 1970...so you can take your liberal insults and give them to someone else.. our fiat system of money is doomed...just by the fact that it is backed by NOTHING...not gold..not silver.. nothing... I would suggest for you to google a series online called moneymasters...it is a thorough history of international banking & our fed reserve.... Having a crisis team to squelch stock market trends and to have non stop printing of dollars (which they dont even report anymore) is suicidal...but go ahead.. think that the economy is great...we have different views... You really think your broker is gonna say something negative? |
