You've just been watchin the news too much, or infotainment as I call it. That and counselors that try to tell people that everyone's a hero.

I don't think that I do. I have very few heroes. My Mom, Dad and my oldest son, Corey. The reasons my parents are my heroes has nuthin to do with the fact that they are my heroes. I watched my Mom fight breast cancer for 7 yrs. She did it with such grace, dignity and humor I greatly admire her for showin me death doesn't have to be scary. That you live each day to the fullest. My Dad is my hero because despite the fact that I was taken out of his life against his will, he never gave up on finding me and did 11 yrs before his death. My son Corey is my hero because at the tender age of 18 he was adult enough to make a decision that would affect the rest of his life and put servin our country in the Army ahead of that life.

I think, there are a lot of "un-sung" heros..
And, its always great to hear of anything, that someone has done thats great, in whatever measure it is......I think we need to hear more of it...
besides all the doom, and gloom....

Geez...give me some good news, anytime...flowerforyou
