I died once, but got better. No bright light. It was a very disillusioning experience. I no longer recommend dying.

Dislocated my left shoulder and pulled muscles from the top of my neck to my elbow at work a few years ago. Can't raise my arm above my head anymore. Tripped over a box UPS left on mom's front porch last Christmas eve and now can pop the bones in my feet. |

Got into an argument with my 28-foot extention ladder at about 25 feet up while on a job. The ladder won. I got a busted ankle for my trouble, but didn't realize it at the time. Thought I had just done something stupid like twisted it or sprained it, 'cept it hurt like a b!tch! Drove 80 miles back home, drove another 85 miles the next day to Green Bay for a concert, then another 85 miles back home again. The day after that (the third day), I realized it wasn't getting any better. Called my mom to take me up to the E-room, where I found out I had sheared my tibia clean off, AND displaced it. Got surgery and two 1-1/2 inch titanium screws for participating, and 8 weeks on crutches with a cast as a consolation prize, not to mention a lifelong human barometer capability as a parting gift.
Wrecked the front end of a snowmobile....with my back. I was kneeling, watching my brother race. Dude on the sled was drunk. Came through the crowd. Didn't break my back, but came close. I did bruise both kidneys. Fell down the concrete fieldhouse steps when I was in high school, on my 15th birthday. Came home on crutches. Twisted my ankle so hard, if I had twisted it one more centimeter, it would've shattered like a glass vase. Swelled up the size of a football. Was involved in two seperate car rollovers. Walked away from both of them with minor injuries, when I shouldn't have walked away from either of them at all. Had my arms yanked out of their sockets numerous times when I was a child. Fell on the playground in grade school. Result: concussion. And a partridge in a pear tree. |
