I think you are partly right.....it's hard to move on from the memories of past failures and not compare your current relationship to things happened before. You get that deja vue feeling and just say to hell with it!

i use to be that way but i woke up and realized not everyone is the same and i wasn't being fair to that person, i was being selfish..i was really emotionally unavailable for along time,but i'm cureddrinker

logical explanations on why LTRs are so far fetched?

one i think is some people had indelible relationships..and just expect the next one to be the same.


For me -- having tried LDRs -- I found that it's just not feasible for me to try to be in a "relationship" with someone I'm not spending "in-person" time with on a regular basis.

Maybe it's "shallow," but I want to be with someone who's actually around.
