I don't drink pop at all, diet or otherwise...
If I want something bubbly, I drink sparkling water

Comes in lots of flavors

cranberry, peach, and lime are my favorites

The biggest seller we have here is Diet Pepsi.

I can't have any of the sodas with the fake sweetener so I really don't know what they taste like, so I just going by sales.

Just so you know we carry almost all the Diet Sodas.

Diet Pepsi has a horribly weird taste. Diet coke and diet ginger ale is good, though.

I'm a Dt. Pepsi girl or Dt. Dr Pepper

But they both still use nutrasweet instead of Splenda which is what's in the Dt. Coke. Can't stand the aftertaste of Splenda YUCK ill

Forget diet pop, you will feel much better.
Most diet pop is only 2 chemicals away from being
ANTIFREEZE.

Just try 30 days off pop & see how much better you will feel. Be easier to lose weight for that bathing suit, also.

Diet pop anything is yuck. I wouldn't drink pop if I had to drink diet. Switch to crystal light or something like that. I am addicted to fountain drinks though.

so can someone post medical evidence supporting all these claims? I'd like to learn more as when it comes to beverages I'm very limited in what I can have and am tired of hearing all this "you're going to die drinking that!!!!!!!1111" rhetoric every time I get asked what I'm drinking.

edit: what about Hanson's? they use Splenda and no caffeine etc.

one more edit: http://www.snopes.com/medical/toxins/aspartame.asp
interesting that they debunk all the claims, which just confuses me even more now. frustrated

I don't know about the effects of artifical sweeteners on your health, but according to some studies I've heard about, diet sodas are actually worse for your waistline than regular. Something about how your body expects the calories that should come from that level of sweetness, and when it doesn't get it you actually end up eating more, because you're unsatisfied.

I, for one, have never had a diet soda. I drink mostly water, sometimes lemonade, once in awhile a regular soda. If you feel that you have to have soda each day my suggestion wouldn't be to switch to diet, but to try to wean yourself off that dependency completely.

I drink diet dr pepper and hanson's mostly. I can't find any definitive proof and I've been trying to forever. I've heard that about the body being "tricked" but I've also seen where that was debunked so I don't know who or what to think on the whole mess.
I'm going to cut back any way, I probably drink too many as it is and I want to get in the habit of drinking water again since the heat will be here soon :)
