They're helping to educate women in poor countries about birth control. They are also teaching them about women's health issues.

I have said this before..The pill and condoms are only 98% effective. Lets see if 230 million adults use protection that would be "HOW" many accidents using protection!!! That's even leaving the minors out of the equation!

Do any of you people commenting on this program even have the slightest knowledge of this program, who contributes to it and what sorts of services it provides?

Gee...let's see over 25 countries contribute but the US was the only one that politicized their contributions.

Do you know that what Obama did was remove the gag rule and take politics out of the US contribution to the program in question.

This now allows clinics receiving money from the US to discuss all legal options with their patients.

This does not mean any more or less abortions will be done.

Here's a clue you reactionary crazed pro-life nazi's...whether the US wants it to or not the program was and is already providing abortions when the patient wants or needs them.

Oh and gee...this money will also provide condoms...so that those with diseases do not infect others.

Oh and here's another bit of info for everyone who in this day in age still places all blame for unintended pregnancy on women. In many area of the world...even here in the US...women....hell's bell's girls...do not have the option of saying no. Rape is used as a tool of war and as a method of intimidation in large parts of the world. Telling those women to "keep their pants on" is small minded and represents an ill-informed view of the realities of the world and of womens lives...it makes me want to throw up!!!

This is a free country...abortion is legal...something that is supported by more than half the country. We have the right of free speech...and so should the doctors and nurses in the US and in the world.

To muzzle medical staffs because some religious types want don't care for abortion is ridiculous. But if you want muzzles...come and get em! Because maybe next maybe it will be your religious speech that's muzzled in the privacy of your church...after all it's fine to muzzle health speech in the privacy of a a doctors office right?

Oh and if all life is precious...put your money and your time where your self righteous speech is and go out and educate children, open your doors to children in the foster care system, build some schools, provide health care to those here, make sure so many children quit going to bed hungry every night....
