so whens start of hurricane season start?

June 1. A day to celebrate the arrival of the wind and the rain,
whenever it comes in the season. When a hurricane arrives that is not a
time to celebrate. That is a time to hunker down. Or to stand in front
of a TV camera in a parka and say how windy it is. "Wow it is really
windy here. Look at that debris blowing all over the place. Just five
minutes ago that sign there, see the bent pole? That sign there blew
down. You should have seen it. Wow that was some wind gust there!"
