I would help to the best of my ability, but I wouldn't be stuck with 100% of the job. Of course in a relationship with someone that has a child that child is apart of the relationship depending on how serious the relationship can be.

Take care of a kid of a girl you just started dating? No offense, but speaking as a VERY protective mother.....no way in H*ll would I leave MY CHILD with someone I just started dating! She doesn't know you yet. And it is very irresponsible of her to do so! ![]() I am sure that your a great guy and like I said, but she needs to get childcare that has all it's credentials up front. |

Take care of a kid of a girl you just started dating? No -- but then, I wouldn't be dating her in the first place. But that's just me.... |

There is a difference between being asked to raise the child and just pitching in. I dated a woman that had 2 little ones. She invited me over for dinner, while she was cooking I noticed the baby, about (6 months old) needed changing, having already had 4, I just asked where the diaper bag was and changed the kid. No big deal, but I wouldn't start paying for stuff and taking on the responsibility for the mother or the kids like you are talking about.
