They mail by weight. I have my own postage scale so I can check weights. Its cheaper to mail under an ounce than by the pound. 41 cents amex and 84 cents canada per ounce. My care package will be a kings ransom. But yet it is still light. But I measured it out and it is in dimensional limits. Its a big f*cking box!

Its the jobs and economy I worry about. I still may have to jump ship. But I just don't want to change jobs just to start a new job just to get laid off 2 months down the road. Y know?

Its bad everywhere. I seen a full color ad today in the newspaper in minnesota for nursing jobs in alberta canada. WTF?!!! Must be tough.

Its bad everywhere. I seen a full color ad today in the newspaper in minnesota for nursing jobs in alberta canada. WTF?!!! Must be tough. Ya Canada is screaming for nurses......mostly Lpns and Rns though.

I told you about growing specialty herbs and spices earlier to cover bills- saffron? Do you even hear me somedays? I'm a parrot. Squawk! Squawk! Gotta repeat myself! Squawk! Ha ha ha!

That's the boat I was in. That's why I decided to go into the medical field. I was lucky enough to qualify for retraining though.

I can't speak for everywhere, but I know there has been a nursing shortage for a long time because the nurses that are working are overworked. Scheduled to handle way too many patients at once and the ones who get into the field aren't staying because of it.

Gypsy, some of our RNs know more than our doctors. Oh I know that!!! In fact, my sister is an RN and when she worked in Texas she had to correct a few doctors. They didnt like that much!! If she had NOT corrected them, they would have been sued for malpractice for giving the wrong meds to the wrong patients.
