Yep. Of course the O.P. was basically a joke.

I had a husband that wanted me to agree with everything he did and said.

When I didn't he wanted to argue about it.

He told me he hated to argue.

I just told him he could end all the arguments if he would just say "Yes dear, you are absolutely right."

He wanted it the other way around, and he wanted me to be sincere and convincing. I just couldn't do it.

So the arguments continued until the marriage failed.

Marriage is basically a power struggle between two people who think they need to own each other.

That is why 95% of them are miserable.

Oh yea that makes a lot of sense. Divorce gives her the kids, the house, and court ordered alimoney/child support, and weekends off. With her holding all the cards you don't have a chance at winning any arguement ever again but you have to get along because of the kids. lol
