I had a guy send me a message but I really wasn't interested in him especially with him living about an hour away from me. I politely told him I wasn't interested. He e-mailed me back all p*ssed off talking about how lazy I am that I won't drive that far and that I was acting like I would have to buy a ticket for a flight or something. I couldn't what a jerk he was. Now I'm glad I didn't talk to him.

sometimes, some girls lead the guy on and cut him off...mad

me, I just dont let that happen.

Hey. Wanna make out?

Actually, I told him right away I wasn't interested and wished him luck. I never lead someone on if I know from the start that I'm not interested in him.

Actually, I appreciate it when I e-mail someone and they don't respond back if uninterested. I respect them for not wasting my time and I never take it personally. Now, as far as rude people go--the headline reads--that's life. Just move on. No need to wonder or worry. Consider yourself fortunate that he revealed himself now as opposed to much, much later.

If you are gonna get mad over rejection you do not need to be on a dating website....

...are alot of guys like this?

I empathize about the anguish the communication outside of these forums caused you, yet that is not so odd (away from here).

There is a safety net by staying with the group, chatting on here, rather than being led off into a private conversation.

I stopped doing IM, finding that the tone of conversations there (not always, but with some people) turns rather viscious or less than pleasant. I abhor pretensiveness, but it is found in both sexes and it is sad.

Thank you for staying around and giving each of us a chance to know you better.

flowerforyou you musta said something wrong that triggered him, guys are usually nice and want to get laid flowerforyou

No offense to the author, but I disagree completely. It's kinda lame to try and imply it's something she did. Some people out there just don't know how to treat others.

lilwick, guys like that are few and far between, in my opinion. I've had similar experiences before. I just block 'em, shake it off and say "next!" It's one reason why I prefer to chat online before meeting. No matter how people try to portray themselves, you can get a sense of what people are like, even online.

Next! flowerforyou

If the guy got triggered and angry by something she said, she does not want to know him anyway. He sounds a bit dysfunctional and insecure. Always a problem in a relationship.

One thing I have learned,.... you can't fix people.

Ok, I totally met this guy today, no I am not saying his saying his name, all I am saying is, when we chated on yahoo he got all cruel all of a sudden out of no where. At first he wanted me to call him and go see him and I was like no, I'm busy right. I got a wierd feeling, like he was playing games, I didn't want to make a sudden judgement so I let it go at first, than I was telling about someone I once met and he gets all super angry, calling me a biggot and and an ahole and a b' for hating on his aztec raise, I was like, what in the world! Talk about an excuse to be mean. Are many guys like this, just lookin for a fight or some nice girl to kick down just cause she is being nice, or maybe even flirting a little bit, I mean, really, what the heck. now I am just thinking of leaving, all though I have some nice friends here, I am tired of angry people, I try not to be one in general, but wow, yu know, are alot of guys like this?

I have had similar experiences. I had one guy assume that because I didn't invite him to my church, it was because he was black, which I had no way of knowing because he didn't have a pic posted or race listed. He lived 3 hours away. He said I had a white racist church basically. I set him straight right quick, but after that I was glad not to talk to him anymore.
