Ok...

ive taken it all in, and heres what ive decieded.

Im gonna take these Zoloft, and see how I feel. If I feel better, ill keep on taking them...

if not...

they go in the trash.

I will give them a month to see how I feel.

I have a sneaky suspicion, in the end, it will be me who gets me through this chit, and not any kind of pill...

but what the hell...

ill give it a shot.

Luv2roknroll,

It could take 4 to 6 weeks to feel the total benefits from it.

The people I have seen recover well stuck with getting better, one person worked with her psych for seven (7) that is seven years before they got the right regimen and she started doing real well. Talk to the doc before just trashing the stuff. It is your life, take it back.

That got me thinking. Did an internist prescribe her med or a psychiatrist? I feel an internist shouldn't be doing that but they do.

It could take a couple of months to get the full benefit of the meds and my doctor cautioned against stopping them in the winter. He said that the shorter (darker) days can make people more depressed, and it would be easier to wait until the warmer (sunnier) weather was around. Of course, I do live in Washington, and it is always dark and grey here.
