A couple went to a nice restaurant that advertised excellent service. The waiter was prompt and the food came quickly. During dinner the women dropped her spoon on the floor and the waiter immediately took a spoon out of his jacket pocket and handed it to the woman. She said she was suprised that the waiter had a clean spoon in his coat. The waiter explained that an efficiancy expert had taught the staff that the most common piece of silverware to be dropped was the spoon and that they could save 10 minutes a shift if they carried a clean spoon with them instead of having to go get one.
The woman then noticed a string hanging out of the waiters fly. She asked about it and he explained that the efficiency expert noted that if the waiters used the string when they went to the men's room, they wouldn't have to wash their hands, thereby saving precious minutes of their shift. The woman said she understood using the string to pull it out, but how did he get it back in his pants?

Answered the waiter "I don't know about the other waiters, but I use the spoon."
