It's bad enough we have these morons driving around talking on their phone, but it's even worse when I see these idiots backing out of their garage or driveway, and they've already got the damn phone to their ear! For cryin' out loud, you just left the friggin' house!

You know, people on cell phones are not nearly as quiet as they think they are. Might want to keep that in mind. And, like many have said, if you are in public having a conversation, you are the one making it everyone's business, they're stuck with it whether they like it or not. Me, I usually join in on the conversation.

when someone is on a cell phone in public I go over and try to listen to the conversation and ask them to speak up when thay say "excuse me this is private" I say "no its public. home is private." ooooooh saweeeeeeeeet. I'll have to remember that one  ((( robin ))) |

You know what really pisses me off is going into a store and everyone stops and stares and then whispers to the person next to them now is that rude or what!? I was on my cell phone arguing (NOT LOUD) and several women and men just smiled and again whispered I thought would it be better to show them my a** just so they could quit being nosy! Hell, I stood in line becuz everyone decided to chit chat of all damn times!! Most ppl would of said something No I just stood there waiting like bumper sticker. THANKS FOR LETTIN" ME VENT!!! Uh... those people might have a point. I mean... you can have a "normal" conversation over the cell phone, but having heated discussions or arguments will tend to draw some attention, no matter how "discreet" you try to be. |

I remember sitting at a shopping center table eating my lunch and there was two people sitting close by talking normally and then one of them had her cellular phone ring , well when she answered it was like she was yelling in it instead of talking and when the call was over she went back talking to her friend normally and you couldn't hear a word she was saying.
People seem to be in another world when on a phone, in a public place it can be annoying but when driving it's dangerous. Some say that when in a car what is the difference between talking to the passenger beside you and talking on a cell, there is a big difference 'cause most people get into another reality when on the phone that you are not when talking to a real person. |
