worst part of it is that my heat is electric..
so no power equals no heat.. and the 4 kids were getting a bit nervous.. we are all camped out in the living room with a pile of blankets on us.. |

And I actually thought we were going to break out our hymnals and start singing. Oh well, I'm gonna go watch Joel Olsteen and see if he frowns at least once through his sermon.

We get 'em here sometimes, though they aren't necessarily because of weather issues...
... our most recent one had to do with some drunk-driving stooge who ran into a power line, which effectively took out the power grid for much of a 64-by-64 block neighborhood. |

Alright....an Arizona girl. I too experience the monsoons. But I'd rather have that then getting snowed in or out for 3-4 days at a time......like this winter.
