Gio,

"These groups help the poor and may be involved in abortion but also work on other aspects of reproductive health care and HIV/AIDS, leading to the closure of free and low-cost rural clinics. It will help save lives and empower the poorest women and families to improve their quality of life and their future."

There's a lot of good in that.

I think $400 million a year in overseas funding is something that MOST Americans would say " NO "...to...don't you ?...Liberals are always saying...take care of our own...stop forgien aid...I guess not in this case though...right ?...let their own government handle it...and...if they won't...then...DON'T GET PREGNANT !!!!!...ohhhhhhhhh for the 50's...

What nobody got pregnant in the 50's? There weren't any back alley abortions and women dying from them?

Those countries are not the same as ours.

Yes, that's a lot of money. But..I can see why they are doing it.

1) Racist Pastor and Poet at the inauguration.
2) America's first racist comments at an inauguration.
3) Mulims were represented by a member of a group that is an unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorist plot in Canada. A group with ties to Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
4) Obama has told reporters "Now is not the time to ask questions"
5) Obama told Republicans who disagree with his stimulus plan (part of which is 150 MILLION for condoms) "I won".
6) Obama told Republicans that they would have to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with him and the other Democrats on the hill.
7) Obama closed Git-mo.
8) Obama closed black sites.
9) Obama legalized giving funding to foreign organizations that do abortions (For those who don't know, the ONLY foreign aid that Clinton gave to Rowanda during the massacres that happened there was free abortions)

It's the first week of his presidency. I believe it will be historic in it's ineptitude and the damage it does to our government and world.

But George Bush did no wrong.... just kept you all stuck in the early 1900's...

Problem is Bush DIDN'T keep us stuck. He expanded programs, and dumped more money into third world countries than any other president. He also nationalized several private corporations. He is what they call a neconservative, or false conservative. Government spending increase by 45% under his rule. He is no conservative.

What we need and haven't got is a fiscal conservative and social liberal. We should hope to take a step back to the early 1900's. In fact, we should step back to how we handled things prior to 1913. We should also decentralize some power a bit which would be similar to pre-civil war conditions, where the states carried more rights, and more focus was given to local governments.

Centralizing our power was the beginning of country's demise. But it wasn't until 1913 when the federal reserve, a private bank, was established and put in charge of our currency. This is where almost all our problems stem from.

The federal reserve artificially controls the economy (although it's startgin to lose control).

The federal reserve is largely responsible for labor outsourcing, and i believe the north american union.

You can blame them partially for high healthcare costs, oil prices, and education costs. The list goes on.

We should all want to undo every step back we took in the early 1900's.
