Actually all the forums are conducive to finding out about the person you are looking for. You do not wish to know what someone is like sexually or what there philosophies are like. It ensures compatability. And no, just because opposites attract does not mean they would make a conducive relationship. You must have commonalities in order to maintain a relationship with someone and yes that includes their sexuality!!

I never saw it as an issue of "more" -- it's just, I've been through these things (to varying degrees) already, and I know they don't work for me. I'm not interested in pretending they do, and I make sure everybody knows that, going in.

I guess, instead of "more," I see it as "other" -- in the sense of "other than what I can live with" -- there ARE alternatives to the married-with-2.4-kids-white-picket-fence-Ward-Cleaver life -- and if someone tells me that's fine with them, I would like to be able to expect that it will still be fine with them 90 days down the road -- but it never happens that way....
