the vet once told me when i cleaned my dogs ears out to stick one in each of her ears so she didnt shake that dirty liquid all over the house lol

melted wax in the carpet.. brown paper grocery sack torn into one layer lay it atop the wax on carpet.. and iron the paper, soaks up all the wax out fo carpet

Hang a fabric softener sheet out of your pocket, or tie an end of one to your belt loop while working outside in the summer. It will keep the bees away.

To keep flies out of the house (if you choose to keep your door [or window] open), hang a Ziploc baggie of water from the top of the door. Flies will not cross a wall of water. With the millions of facets to their eyes, they will see the baggie of water and percieve it to be a wall of water.

You may wind up with ONE blind fly in your house.
